From a Brand-New Interior to a Sustainable and Fresh Finish
After an extensive exterior treatment, including a ceramic coating, it's time to tackle the interior of the Renault 5E. From vacuuming to coating the mats, and from cleaning the windows to treating the plastics—everything is covered. And of course, we wrap it up with a well-deserved croquette!

Time for the interior
Time for the interior
The exterior of the Renault has been fully treated with a ceramic coating, which now needs 24 hours to cure before it is completely hardened and protected against external influences. To optimize protection, a layer of Q²M CeramicDetailer is applied. This not only aids in the initial curing phase but also enhances water repellency and provides a silky-smooth finish.
But now, it's time for the interior. The mats are coated with GYEON Q² FabricCoat to make them resistant to dirt and water. For plastics and interior panels, we use GYEON Q²M Preserve, and the windows receive a thorough cleaning with GYEON Q²M Glass and the accompanying Q²M GlassPack cloths.
Interior Protection and Cleaning
Interior Protection and Cleaning
We start with a quick vacuum. Although the car is brand new, there's already some dirt, so a thorough cleaning won't hurt. Next, we tackle the interior panels and plastics with GYEON Q²M InteriorDetailer. This product is not only effective against everyday dirt but also has antibacterial properties, removing 98% of all bacteria. Ideal for a fresh and hygienic interior.
For application, we use the Q²M InteriorWipe, a special cloth with short, dense loops that absorbs well and is safe for sensitive surfaces like high-gloss plastics and touchscreens. And the latter is definitely a luxury, as fingerprints disappear like magic.
The windows receive special attention with GYEON Q²M Glass and the corresponding microfiber cloths. Using a waffle-texture cloth, we wipe everything dry without streaks. An extra check with a flashlight shows whether we've really missed any spots—because nothing's more frustrating than streaks in the sunlight.

Coating the Mats
Coating the Mats
The mats are treated with GYEON Q² FabricCoat, a product that helps prevent dirt and moisture from settling. It's important to do this in a well-ventilated area and wear gloves, as it contains strong solvents. The first layer is sprayed evenly and then spread over the fibers with an applicator and gloves. Afterward, we wait a bit before applying the second layer. Note: the first layer should still be slightly damp before the second layer is applied, or it won't adhere properly.
The seats and rear seat are treated in the same way. Since the process takes some time, we won't show everything, but the result is definitely worth it: a water- and dirt-repellent interior that stays clean for longer.

Protecting Plastics with GYEON Preserve
Protecting Plastics with GYEON Preserve
To protect the plastics and trims, we apply GYEON Q²M Preserve. This creates a UV-resistant layer with a subtle satin finish. The dashboard, door panels, and other plastic parts get a well-maintained look without excessive shine. For optimal results, we let it absorb for a bit and then wipe it down with a clean cloth. Not everyone is a fan of dressings on plastics, but in this case, the effect is subtle and stylish. It also helps prevent drying and discoloration caused by the sun.

Time for a Croquette
Time for a Croquette
The interior of the Renault is now not only spotless but also protected against dirt and wear. Thanks to the right products, it stays fresh and easy to maintain for longer. From antibacterial cleaning to dirt-repellent coatings, everything has been thoroughly taken care of. And after all that hard work… time for a croquette!
