The Lake Country SDO Orbital Pads are specifically designed for Dual Action polishers with smaller eccentric travel, such as the Monello LDA1000 and the Polishing Power DAP500 EL and DAP EVO polishers.
The SDO polishing pads have a trapezoidal design, so the pad stays cooler and flatter on the paint for optimal polishing results. The 'Cool Running design' gives 10% less heat generation than comparable pads. The SDO Orange polising Pad is a firm pad, intended for light cutting and scratch removel, produces semi-gloss finish.
The Lake Country SDO series contains several polishing pads, all with their own properties and hardnesses:
- Blue - Cutting pad for tackling deeper (sanding) scratches and heavy weathering.
- Available in 3.5", suitable for 70-75mm backing pads
- Also available in 5.5", suitable for 123-125 mm backing discs.
- Orange - Polishing pad for removing swirls, holograms and optimizing scratches.
- Available in 3.5", suitable for 70-75 mm backing discs.
